指路

午饭后外出散步,沿Thompson St往北。看到Maynard St Parking Garage的出口处有两位年轻的女同志和7、8个小皮猴。两位女同志低头看着手中的一张纸,又抬起头看手机,嘀嘀咕咕彼此商量着什么。小皮猴们叽里呱啦,散成一条折线,贴着墙边站着,颇有幸灾乐祸的样子。

像我们这种靠spatial analysis谋生的人,遇见这样的情况,便情不自禁凑上去,问道:Are you guys lost?

原来两位幼儿园老师是要带着小皮猴们去艺术博物馆,我当仁不让,blah blah blah,一通指点。

两位女老师搞清楚路线后,招呼小皮猴们 let’s go!

如果你曾经参加过这种班集体出行,就会知道,再小的“集体”,听到老师喊“齐步走”时,也会有一两个磨磨蹭蹭、有意无意掉队的家伙。

果然,站在折线末端的两个小皮猴不顾大部队已经开拔,继续你推我搡着。直到他们俩发现我盯着他们坏笑时,一个才恍然如悟冲另一个喊道,come on, we are gonna see the Statue of Liberty!
